I-PARK: May Open Studios

Despite the rain I-Park Foundation May Open Studios was a nice and intimate event, landscape architect/artist Monica Hernandez-Truitt’s paper sculpture become a soggy heap but she lucky took lots of beautiful documentation photos of the work be for the rain hit.  A handful of visitors came to see what me and my AiR peer had been doing during the May session.

The afternoon began with Tawnie Olson’s Skype performance with a clarinetist form Canada. Followed by a poetry reading by Tung-Hui-Hu, check out his collection of poems in the following 3 books found on Amazon HERE. There was then a tour of Alice‘s studio where we looked at her photography tests of DoF and distance of photographer and subject as performance. Then we strolled down to the lake to see Madeline, Monica, and Chad’s works.
